The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide (FBGA)

is a non-profit organisation established in 1977 to foster interest in the activities of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide and raise funds for the benefit of the Gardens.

• The FBGA is a volunteer organisation that supports the Botanic Gardens of South Australia, comprising Adelaide, Mt Lofty, & Wittunga BGs. 
• General Meetings are held four times a year, as well as 2 'Twilight Talks" with speakers on interesting garden topics.
• The Friends have contributed to the Gardens in many projects.
• The Gwen Thomas Scholarship Award is awarded to selected Garden Staff.
